Pete Hines, Bethesda Marketing and PR vice president, announced via twitter that this month Skyrim and Rage fans will enjoy new content in the form of DLC’s.

Although no details were offered, in Skyrim is most likely to be introduced horse armor or new areas, Morrowind and Cyrodiil images already existing among the game files.


Next week Electronic Arts will announce a new DLC for Battlefield 3, according to rumors it will include more maps inspired by American cities like New York, Miami, New Jersey and San Francisco.

Renegade Ops DLC’s

Sega announces DLC Campaign Coldstrike and Vehicle Pack for top-down shooter Renegade Ops developed by Avalanche Studios.

Vehicle Pack introduces 2 new characters – Crystal and Blazemo – each with their own vechiculele and can be purchased for 2.49 euros and Coldstrike Campaign comes with a new villain – Coldstrike – can be met on 3 new maps, the package being available for EUR 4.49 .

According to GameStop on January 24 will be released a new DLC for Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

It will include 6 multiplayer maps – Siena, Jerusalem, Dyers, San Donato, Florence and Imperial District of Constantinople – will be available at a price of $ 9.99.

To toast the release of Rezurrection, Treyarch will host Double XP from September 23-25.

Jason Bergman – Bethesda Senior Producer – announces on the official forum that Lonesome Road DLC for Fallout: New Vegas, which should be released in July, will not be available either this month.

It was not offered a new release date, but the manufacturer promises new details soon.

In May Valve has made available the first part of the Portal 2 soundtrack, now the fans can download the second part of the soundtrack for free. The third part will be available soon.

Steam discounts

Valve Software announced that until Friday at 02:00, games Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and DLC Pack, Resurgence Pack and Stimulus Package can be purchased via Steam at half of the original price.

Also, Frozenbyte collection that includes titles Trine, Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds Survivor will receive a price cut of 85% being available for 4.50 euros.

CD Projekt Red announced that with the release of patch 1.2 for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, scheduled to be held today, will be also introduced the DLC Barbers and Coiffeuses. A full list of the changes and new content can be found on official site.

Pride of Nations Demo

Paradox Interactive and AGEOD have today released a playable demo for their turn-based historical strategy game set in the colonial era of the 19th century, Pride of Nations, as well as details of free downloadble content for anyone that pre-orders the game prior to its PC release on June 7th.

The demo includes five tutorial levels for players to familiarise themselves with the game, along with 12 turns of the Grand Campaign.

As a reward for anyone that pre-orders Pride of Nations on June 7th, the first DLC content will be given away completely free of charge. Set during the Spanish-American War of 1898, this brand new epic scenario covers the 10 months of the ’Splendid Little War’ fought between the USA and Spain. This is a fast paced scenario where the player playing as America bears the pressure of having to achieve total victory in the same time-frame as was achieved in reality, mastering naval operations as well as lightning fast land maneuvers. The Spanish-American War DLC will also be available to purchase post-release.
