The banner was quickly removed, but today Electronic Arts officially confirmed the existence of Battlefield 4 through a multiplayer gameplay trailer from Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

Therefore, now it is official: those who will pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition before the game’s release date, that being scheduled for October 23, will be granted access to Battlefield 4 beta-testing, which will begin in the next year’s autumn.

The battle for first-person shooter supremacy may be extending beyond the battlefield. Electronic Arts will announce a premium content service for Battlefield 3 on June 4, writes Battlefieldo. The rumor comes from an “unofficial” but “reliable source,” who apparently leaked the date and first details. According to the report, signing up for the service will land players content drops. The first planned drop adds a premium knife, and new soldier and weapon camo, as well as black dog tags to the game.

Battlefield 3 multiplayer news

DICE has provided detailed informations about multiplayer modes to be present in first-person shooter Battlefield 3.

Therefore in the release day will be available 9 maps that can be played in 5 multiplayer modes, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch Squad, Rush, Rush and Conquest Squad.

In Team Deathmatch two teams of 12 players will face each other.

Squad Deathmatch will send four teams of four players and includes a IFV – Infantry Fighting Vehicle – that an engineer will have to deal with constantly.

Rush Mode is known to the fans of Bad Company. Attackers will have to advance on the map and to detonate M-COM stations to go ahead and get respawn tickets. There is a difference to the way of Bad Company, M-COM towers can no longer be destroyed by gunfire or grenades. In this mode, will face two teams of 32 players and every vehicle from the game will be available.

Squad Rush mode is a modified version of the above. The rules remain unchanged, but the battles will go only between infantry troops, each team having four members. There will also be only two bases, each with a single M-COM.

Conquest is the classic game type where an object has to be captured and defended, battles will take place on huge maps between teams of 32 or 64 players. All vehicles will be available in the game, if the team runs out of respawn tickets that you will lose the fight.

Battlefield 3 beta for PC is ready !

According to French site Planet Battlefield, Battlefield 3 beta for PC is ready, DICE making preparations so it can be release simultaneously for consoles and PC.

Before they can begin the beta test for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Microsoft and Sony have to check the game and give their consent. This process takes between 2 to 3 weeks, which means that Battlefield 3 beta test will start this month.
